and implementing essential changes to move the university towards a sustainable future. Their
role encompasses reviewing and inputting on strategic planning, setting sustainability goals,
and developing strategies for senior leadership approval. This effort involves drafting and
overseeing sustainability initiatives that address immediate and long-term goals, aiming to
boost community engagement and enhance service offerings. Additionally, they advise on
incorporating sustainability into the university's strategic planning, propose methods for
enacting these plans, track advancements, and advocate for embedding sustainability practices
and principles across the university's operations comprehensively.
